The Résidence Maminotte is an institution in Pyla-sur-Mer. It was founded in 1966 as the Hôtel Maminotte, an annex to the "La Maloune" hotel.

In 2010, a major renovation was planned. The hotel and its rooms have been transformed into an aparthotel with five apartments and three studios.

In 2022, regional enthusiasts with family roots in Arcachon decided to take up the torch and continue to perpetuate the values of hospitality and family passed down by their predecessors.

It was a no-brainer to keep the name and spirit of this institution, as the nickname of the new owner's beloved grandmother, who also lived in Arcachon, was Maminette.
